We feel pleasure in informing you that to cope up with the present-day demand from the core sector industries and to equip our budding engineers with the desired level of skills and expertise, we have established, under our Department of Mechanical Engineering, a well equipped CAD Centre at our Institution premises at Sonarpur. At this centre, we are providing basic and advanced training in various engineering Drafting and Parametric Solid Modeling softwares like AutoCAD, Inventor and Pro-E. Presently we are enrolling students for the above courses, both individually and in batches, for our oncoming sessions to be held during the months of July and August i.e. during the inter-semester break-period of WBUT affiliated colleges. The maximum intake capacity at present is 30 students per batch, to be filled on first-come first-serve basis. Classes will be held in 3 sessions, Morning, Afternoon and Evening. Certificates will be awarded by the institute on successful completion of the course.

We understand that you will be definitely interested in providing your students with industry oriented training at one of the most prestigious private sector engineering colleges of the state in CAD softwares and may certainly utilize our Centre to groom your students.Presently we have 25 seats in each batch to offer and the duration of course varies from 6 weeks to 8 weeks depending upon the standard and level of trainees.

We have also plans to expand our scope of operation in the corporate levels where presently a tremendous flow of technology transfer is taking place creating a burning need for computer savvy professionals.

That our assumption and reading about the present educational and Industrial scenario was correct has already been proved by the encouraging fact that all seats of our coming Two sessions have already been booked.

This course has been aimed at different levels of engineering students and working professionals using AutoCAD as the platform. As an introduction to the world of CAD, a thorough training of 2D drafting and initial training in 3D solid modeling will be provided in this course. Coping with the present market trend and attaching stress on producing professionals, a meaningful theoretical and practical training will be imparted through AutoCAD giving stress on industrial applications for different disciplines like Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical and Civil & Structural.Students will be awarded certificates on successful completion of this course.
