Training : The department arranges the vocational training for B. Tech 2nd year and 3rd year students and MBA second year students during the summer vacations. The department aims to expose its B.Tech & MBA students to training related to latest technologies in different areas besides organizing the placement activities. As a part of its placement activities the department also provides special support to students to face various campus interviews.

Placement : Placement department is one of the strongest department of FIEM, engaging highly qualified and experienced persons from corporate and industry .The placement opportunities of our students are quite bright, various industries visit our campus for recruitment of our students. The department furnishes information about B.Tech and MBA students of pre-final and final year to various industries all over the country and arranges facilities for campus interviews. The department also provides counseling to students about placement opportunities and maintaining contact with all industrial organizations for further placement purposes.

Some of the focused activities of the department are :

1.Career counseling by faculty and trained professionals
2.Structured personality development programme giving emphasis on interview skills through trainers and corporate personnel.

Pre-Placement Talks (PPT)

The placement programme starts when B.Tech students enter 6th Semester. Several industries are invited to give placement talk. These entail a presentation by the Company to appraise students about their organization.

Placement is just one of the meeting point between FIEM and industry and we strongly believe that a far stronger win win relationship should be built between the two. There are several activities where the corporate and FIEM can work together at different point of time – Summer Training, Summer Internships, Life Projects etc.
